Na-Da Farm Charm

It's no secret we love doing Na-Da Farm Barn Sale.  The charm of the farm and the beautiful rural landscape make for a perfect weekend.  Once again, we had great weather and a wonderful weekend for vintage fun!  I have soooo many pictures, I'm going to have to do this in two parts.  First, for the farm its self.

This is the picturesque setting.

Anne Marie's Bakery was absolutely beautiful.  It was also filled with the most delicious treats.

And sweet faces!

Speaking of faces, there was even face painting for the little kids.  Something for everyone.....so smart!

And, speaking of something for everyone, my sister and I were talking about the food days earlier.  The brats are soooo good!  And, they are prepared by the nicest guys too.
Anne Marie had these huge white urns filled with cheery flowers to the entrance of her dreamy cafe area.

Even the coffee station is cute.

Anne Marie had her beautiful book available.  She did amazing food styling for it, and the very talented Traci Thorson did the photography.
Vintage goods were spilling out of the barn.
And inside, it was filled with inspiration and beautiful goods.
This was part of our booth we shared with Mary, from Urban Farmgirl and Co.

I will be sharing more pictures of this weekend's event.  So stop back.

Tomorrow, we are off to the flea market. Ugh!  I'm soooo tired.....I just want to sleep.  Have a great rest of your weekend!

Just a Tease

Na-Da Farm Barn Sale starts today!!  I thought I'd share just a few pictures of the space so far.  There is much more to do, and these were taken on our way out yesterday.  So, the space will be filled to the brim with more great stuff by the opening tonight.
First of all, this little outdoor cafe at the farm is just dreamy!  Right around the corner, inside the barn, is Anne Marie's  Bakery.

Our space is bursting with great antique and vintage goods, as well as a handful of handmade. There are are a ton of cool industrial items too.  We've got a bunch of great old stools, dress forms and fans. We've also made a huge assortment of hand stamped tags, muslin ribbon, burlap runners, and pillows. There are cute buntings, sailboats, and vintage wood totes too. Too much to list here.

I guess you'll just have to take a ride out to the farm to see for your self.

Between us and Mary, we have ton's of cool signs to choose from.

Grab one of Mary's Urban Farmgirl bags to make shopping this event easier.....and cuter!

This sweet little fawn is just waiting for a new home.  She is perfectly chippy.

We will be sharing more pictures today on Facebook, so be sure to check back there and give us a "Like".  Hope to see you this weekend!

Scrabble Card

I had to show you all this adorable birthday card my sister made me for my birthday a couple weeks ago. She is so good at making these little creations. They are a gift all by themselves.

She attached it to the bag with some vintage seam binding.

Her gift was a little something for my future chicken coop, so this tag was a perfect foreshadowing to the gift!  The card looks perfect clipped on one of the metal clip stands from the store.  I'm so glad I have the perfect way to display it!

How cute are these graphics!  She gets most of her graphics from Graphics Fairy.

Lucky for you, she has been busy making some of these fabulous cards for the shop.  If you have a certain phrase in mind, let us know and she can make a custom one for you!

Speaking of "Hen House's", I took my first step towards my future chicken coop today.  Thanks to my insanely wonderful mom, sister, and husband, I was able to purchase this beauty today!  Besides the birth of my beautiful Mary Jane, I don't think I've been this excited in years!  I've wanted this for so long!! Stay tuned to see how I transform this shed into a fabulous home for my girls!

Stock & Tulips

I love fresh flowers, and try every week to make sure I have some in a few rooms.  This week I stopped by the florist in town, and came home with Stock, also know as Matthiola.
I also got a beautiful Lily to use elsewhere.
I mixed the Stock with yellow tulips I already had.  The Stock fill the air with the most wonderful fragrance.

Because these are so fragrant and are such a good cut flower, I would love to plant some this year to have for the house and shop. I don't know much about growning them though.  I guess I'll have to do my homework.

Remember, we are open this week!  Come out and see us.  Thursday thru Saturday from 10am-3pm.  We will also be in this Tuesday from 9am - noon.

Vintage Pin Cushions

Being a quilter, one of my favorite gifts I have ever received is one of these vintage pin cushions from my mom.  She made me one years ago....actually, I don't think it was a gift or that she made it for me, I think she made it to sell, and I LOVED it, so I just took it.  She's pretty used to that.  Well, I'm glad I did. I adore it.

Aren't they just adorable???

They are all unique and one of a kind.

I love that someday I will be able to tell my daughter that "grandma" made this and hopefully re-gift it to her.  It's the little things in life...right? It truly is one of my favorite things.

Lucky for you, she is now making them for the shop. She's sold quite a few already so stop by next weekend if you want one!
