January Shop Scenes 

Need help decorating for Winter? We've got lots of new home decor this month, including a few old favorites. PLUS, a whole batch of houseplants arrived last week. Here's a quick peek. 

I love how these new floral prints look on the wall. They really fill in a large space.  Each sold separately. Notice the large crocks underneath with the ferns and olive tree. LOVE these. 

How cute are they?!  I love that they say White Cottage Stoneware Company. Cute, neutral, and just about anyone can use these. Plus, we have them in a few different sizes. They are perfect for our olive trees and favorite ferns.  

These lanterns are new too. They are LED bulbs and have a 6 hr on and 18 hr off timer.  

Look at these faux ferns!  They are pretty fantastic. Obsessed with the big one. How cute is the terracotta bird feeder?

These sweet dachshund dog planters are back in stock too.  Super cute planters. Perfect for plants, or just about anything you need to corral.   

Finally got the candle snuffers and candle snips back in stock. These make a great addition to add to our  candles to make a nice gift.

Welcome back to our blog!

 I came across our ORIGINAL blog!  I noticed that it actually was still getting views everyday. Holiday Open House

Save the date!! It's official, we are having a Holiday Open House on November 12th from 4-8pm. This will be a special preview night for all the Holiday goods we have franticly been making, buying, hoarding and such! We are joining forces with many of the other shops in the area, so this will be a great night out for Holiday shopping. So grab a friend, and your Christmas list too.....and make it a date! Southern Illinois Trip

Though this past weekend didn't yield as much as we'd hoped, we still had fun. We even managed to squeeze in an Antique Market at the very end. These trips always have the best opportunities for great pictures! So....I thought I'd share.

I NEVER seem to tire of seeing the word Antiques plastered on the side of a building! 

I also can't get enough of our little shopgirl MaryJane. She's the best!

I can't pass on old truck without taking a dozen pictures of it. This is what I dream of......and vintage campers....and cottages.

This place was closed. For a while by the looks of it, but I just love their sign.

This one was decked out for Fall.

We were pretty excited when we pulled up here, and ended up walking out empty handed.

They did know how to draw everyone in though! They had the cutest little set ups.

This place was so packed you literally  had to step over things and turn your body sideways to get around. It was three floors. And it was for sure haunted. Creepiest place I've ever been!

This booth had some cool things, except you couldn't really get to them. Kinda like the back of our shop, behind the curtain!

As If a two day road trip out of town wasn't enough. Mom and I headed to the Grayslake Antique Market on Sunday. This booth and the next were dreamy. 

I'm a huge sucker for old flannels and wool blankets. I can't get enough of them. See that black and white Buffalo check one in the middle? That one came home with me. I also managed to buy a wool blanket too. 

Luckily I already have a red and black check shirt like these or I would of had to get one. They are so cute! Hmmmm, I don't have a green and black check. Next time!

Fall Favorites

We love fall at the shop. Decorating is easy and SO much fun! Wool blankets, antlers, thermoses, pumpkins, gourds, and flannels are among some of our favorite fall items.  Here's a taste of whats going on at the shop this season!
