Grayslake Antique Market 8/8

We did the Grayslake Antique Market on Saturday August 8th.  We were only able to do Saturday's show due to the birthday picnic we had planned on Sunday.  It was a pretty slow day...we think everyone had plans to do or attend the Elkhorn Antique Flea Market.  Even though it was a smaller show this time, we still did pretty well, and as usual, we met some fabulous people.

We sold a bunch of old wooden drawers this time, they seemed to be the flavor of the week.  Also, Anne brought out some of her adorable crowns this time.  Check out the old wall paper table that mom scored at an auction.  Unfortunately, the table is NFS because it is such a perfect display table for us. It folds up compact and is light.  Oh...one more thing...check out the FABULOUS garden fountain statue.  She is so beautiful and has the perfect patina.

Anne turned this old foot board into a chalkboard and added vintage door knobs to hang coats or bags from.  This piece would be perfect for a mud room.  It will be coming with us to our next show.

Julie found this antique puzzle table at a garage sale.  The lady didn't know much about it and we can't seem to find anything on the internet about it....does any one have info on this?  Well, anyway, it is such a great piece.  The vintage cooler sitting in front of it is pretty great too!

Some of these great pieces are still with us and will be going to our next show at the Highwood Street Market on August 21st and 22nd.  Come see us!
