December at the shop!

It's Christmas at the shop!  Here are some pic's of what we have for the holidays...

This vintage santa cutout stands about 4 feet tall and is absolutely adorable!

We have lots of different bottle brush trees.

These wreaths are made out of vintage sheet music.  Perfect for a shabby Christmas!

Burlap table runners are perfect for adding a festive touch to your table...we've got a couple styles to choose from!

This old enamel pot is the perfect colors for the season.

 We love these pillows mom makes. They are great year round and really "pop" when thrown on a chair.

Lots of mittens!  Be sure to try a pair on and feel the soft inside lining.  Perfect teachers gift!

Bakers twine always looks so cute wrapped around a package.

Julie has been busy making her burlap wrapped vintage bottles.  Each bottle has a vintage rhinestone piece added to it.  Great hostess gift.

How cool is this vintage inspired potato chip holder/rack??  Perfect for holding all your holiday cards.  Love this!!

Stamped muslin ribbon.  We sold so much of this stuff at the 3 French Hens market that we had to make more!  Wrap your presents in it, or your tree!

These 18 inch bottle brush stars are fabulous!!  They look so great on a tree or in a wreath.

Vintage chicken feeders filled with candles.  Perfect down the center of a table.  

Banners look so festive hanging on a fireplace mantel.

Antlers are great for decorating this time of year.  

These little trees are sat atop a small snow-filled vial and adorned with a vintage rhinestone piece.  One customer ordered one for all her co-workers....great idea!!

Urban Farmgirl shop opening!!!

Our friend Mary, the Urban Farmgirl, is opening in a shop in Rockford!  Her grand opening is this weekend and it starts Thursday night.  We are open this weekend too, so after we close on Thursday, we are going to head out to see her fabulous space.  

We were lucky enough to meet Mary earlier this year and she started selling some of her vintage finds at Tattered Tiques.  She is the sweetest, most down to earth girl ever.  Her true midwestern farmgirl roots show in her girl next door personality and her awesome finds.  We wish her great success on her new adventure!!

A Happy Thanksgiving

We at Tattered Tiques wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving.  We want to send a heartfelt thank you to all our customers, new and old. We have met many a new friend thanks to the shop and get excited every time you walk in. We are so blessed to be living our little vintage dream thanks to you. 

We also want to take this time to thank our families.  We couldn't have Tattered Tiques without them.  Our husbands and dad don't flinch when asked for a favor, so a huge thank you to them for all their help!  And of course we can't forget the kids, who day after day put up with our countless trips to the shop to work.  Here's wishing all of you a very Happy and Healthy Thanksgiving!

3 French Hens Holiday Market

We are so excited to be vendors at this years Holiday Market.  If you haven't been, it is worth the trip.  There will be plenty of fabulous vendors.  We will have a small booth here selling our holiday wares.  Come out and see us!  

We will also be open this Thursday(10:00--3:00) if you need some paint or a feel like shopping!
