Nautical Nightstand

We recently painted a nightstand for a customer.  It was a small antique chest of drawers that was quite boring, until of course we added a little Chalk Paint.  Take a look.
I love the way it turned out.  It was painted in Pure White and Napoleonic Blue Chalk Paint. It also received a slight tatter, and a layer of dark wax.
It's "dirtied" up enough I hope to conceal the wear and tear that a little boy can do.  With very nautical colors,  and dapper pulls that look like fancy buttons, on a blazer,  this little piece would look great in any nautical themed room.

The top is a beautiful sea of blue.  It reminds of ocean waves.
This little nightstand is going in a little boys room, but it would look just as great in a grownup or teens room.

Or in a family room.  Look at the stripes on the rug.  They remind me of the dresser stripes.

Here's another example of a nautical family room.  Notice the small table next to the couch.  Wouldn't our little dresser fit in perfectly in it's place?

Here is the before picture.  It's cute, but had a ton more potential.

One last look.  I hope the new little owner likes it!
