Pottery Barn Knock Off

We recently came across a huge roll of very cool canvas.  It was already hemmed on both sides, and seemed perfect for summer table runners.   Anne then noticed in the new Pottery Barn a very cool 4th of July banner made out of burlap.
Pottery Barn's version.  This one sells for $34.50 with free shipping at the moment.

 And mom's version, for $28.

It's clean, crisp, and so 4th of July.

This is a close up of the canvas.  It couldn't be any more perfect.  It even has blue string in the seam.

Well, there you have it.  The Tattered Tiques version of the Pottery Barn 4th of July Banner.  This one will be for sale in the shop.  I see a lot of possibilities for this canvas now!  I'm thinking "Beach House" done in beachy blues and whites.

Have a lovely weekend everyone!

May Shop Pics

While we were getting the shop ready the other day, we snapped some pictures.  I thought I would entice you local guys and gals to stop by this weekend.
Smore's season is upon us.  How cute is this vintage Campfire Marshmallow tin?  It would be the perfect container to carry all your Smore's fixins in.

Notice the vintage shoe rack behind this adorable desk?  It's fab!  I've never seen one painted like this.
These buckets are perfect for corralling summer toys, or even cold drinks!
They are all so cute and summery.
Loving these old wicker chairs we recently picked up.
We have two of these old cement urns.  They are fab!
These old metal numbers would make a great magnetic board.  They even have a hole in the top for a ribbon to hang from.

My sister made adorable pennant gift tags.  They would be perfect for a summer birthday or party.

Customers are always asking for shutters.  I hope these amazing ones don't disappoint.  They are so perfect.  So summer camp like.
We recently picked up these beauties too.  They are a great grey blue.  All original paint.
This big white cabinet would be the perfect tv stand.  We've left it untouched for now.

So if you haven't been into the shop for a while, maybe it's time you stop by.  We will be open this weekend. Thursday, May 30th thru Saturday June 1st, 10am - 3pm.  We are located at 22029 N. Pepper Road, Unit 2, in Lake Barrington, IL.
Have a great weekend everyone!  Thanks for stopping by.
